Personal Info
This is my first real attempt at writing a blog and I can only hope it is beneficial. I do think that reflection is a great tool to learn. And thus the title “along the way.” It is along life’s journey, if we pause, we will learn and grow from the learning. I’m convinced that most of life’s most enduring lessons are learned along the way.
I am the Executive Director of Pioneers Canada. I have had the joy of serving in some form of mission leadership since 1992 and am thrilled to play some small part of what God is doing in Canada and around the world. God’s love and grace continue to change my life. And it in the context of his mission purpose that so much of life’s richness is being discovered. While I plan to write personally on this blog, it is also that I write from the frame of reference of the mission environment.
I live in Dorchester, ON with my wife Beth and our two sons, Joshua and Caleb. Josh is currently studying at Capernwray on Thetis Island, B.C.
In leisure time, I enjoy golf and being with friends having engaging discussion over coffee or tea. I also enjoy reading and collecting quotes from wise and gifted communicators.
